Youth Action Health

Youth Action Health is a youth-led registered non-profit organisation established in 2010 to address the health and social challenges of children, adolescents and young people in Capricorn District, Limpopo Province, South Africa.

Youth Action Health’s vision is to be the leading public health, capacity building and advocacy NPO within South Africa in advancing the sexual and reproductive health rights of adolescents and youth, and to be known as a reputable, professional, caring and knowledgeable organisation which can make a significant contribution to the development of South Africa through the empowerment of adolescents and youth and to advance the children's rights and wellbeing.

The organisation works mainly with children, adolescents and youth between the ages of 15 and 24 targeting both in and out of school children and youth in the community. Youth Action Health work in schools, institutions of higher learning and underserved communities through peer education sessions and community dialogues to disseminate awareness messages on sexual and reproductive health rights and gender-based violence awareness and prevention.
