Phalombe Youth Arms Organization is a registered youth organization established in line with the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. PYAO invests in innovative ideas, convenes interested parties, shares its learning and advocates for change in support of young people being health, creative and fully engaged citizens. PYAO works towards empowering children with information and skills to reduce their vulnerability to sexual violence, child marraiges, exploitation and abuse, and trafficking.
