The Period Company is a Zimbabwean registered organisation that seeks to improve the period experience for African woman and girls. We believe in improving quality of life of women and girls. Menstruation is a natural and routine part of life for healthy girls and women, but in Zimbabwe it is accompanied by shame and fear. Without education from parents and teachers, girls often begin their period in isolation, without any understanding of what is happening to their bodies.
