Overture Outreach International (dba Overture International), is a 501c3 organization established by individuals in the U.S. and Haiti to empower Haiti families and their communities to be active and engaged in building full, hopeful and independent lives. We understand long-term success depends on an investment in resources and a long-term commitment of time and talent to youth and families. Sustainability is achieved only when we encourage self-help strategies, support local trade, offer jobs to local community members, and provide education. This inspired us to establish a Social Support Model that is centered around community partnerships and locally-driven services, and that is built on five essential pillars (Empowerment, Education, Nutrition, Housing, and Healthcare). Each pillar equips community members with the education, skills and resources they need to overcome daily obstacles.
