Nkafamiya Rescue Mission

Nkafamiya Rescue Mission (NRM) is an independent global child rights organization committed to supporting vulnerable and marginalized children and their communities to be free from poverty. By actively connecting committed people with powerful ideas, we work together to make positive, deep-rooted and lasting changes in children and young people’s lives. NRM was founded in 2013 by a student Ayuba Irmiya Vandi. Originally named Support Care to Victims of insurgents', the aim was to provide food, accommodation and education to children whose lives had been disrupted by the Boko Haram attack in north east Nigeria. Over the years our approach to humanitarian assistance has evolved from conflict relief activities, to post-conflict support, to long-term community development and emergency assistance that helps children, their families and their communities in north east Nigeria.
