NGO “Internet Safety Center “Stop sexting”

In 2018, Internet Safety Center started its work with the translation of the Europol video about the online grooming of children and the development of the first lesson on child online safety in the context of preventing children's sexual exploitation online. In 2020, based on the received feedback and requests, we decided to launch a #stop_sexting as a full-scale educational project that is focused on child online sexual abuse and exploitation protection.

Currently, ​​NGO “Stop sexting” is a leading Ukraine educational organization on children's online safety that educated 536 000 + children and 260 000+ teachers/parents, developed the first in the world VR on sexual online abuse of children, published 3 books, developed 40+ educational programs, launched and maintains several report and helplines, successfully advocated at the government level criminalization of grooming and child sexual abuse materials watching/possession. The organization regularly has special projects with famous Ukrainian singers/actors and media. In 2020, “Stop sexting” was the only winner in the “Peace” category of the “Partnership for Sustainable Development” award, founded by the UN Global Compact Network. Since February 24th, the organization provides additional knowledge for children, parents, and teachers on mental health, and children's online/offline safety in wartime. The organization is supported by the Ukrainian telecommunication and internet industry as well as other private companies. Moreover, the long partnership is established with World Childhood Foundation (Sweden), ChildFund (Germany and Korea), UK Embassy in Ukraine, the Walt Disney Company, Oak Foundation, the Ukraine Humanitarian Fund, DT institute, the doTERRA Healing Hands Foundation, and others.
