Muwanga Development Association (MUWADA, Uganda) is an NGO operating in Kiboga district, Central Uganda. The organization was founded by University Graduates passionate about giving back to the communities where they are born and grew up.

Having grown up in an environment where people share water with animals, men abuse women, education is poor, HIV/AIDS is rampant, many marriages are forced and most of the youth is unemployed, the founders of the organization decided to unite in 2014 to solve these issues. It was legally registered as a non-governmental organization on 24th October 2014, under NGO Board statute of 1989 REG NUMBER INDR11368B2629NB.

Our vision is of a society in which all people and vulnerable children realize their fundamental rights and meet their basic needs. Our mission is to promote human rights skills development for youth both boys and girls through education, sensitization on HIV-AIDS, hygiene and water.
