I_Rep Foundation (I AM RESPONSIBLE FOUNDATION) is a community based organization working in the remote county of West Pokot, Kenya. It was established in the year 2013 to promote the rights and wellbeing of children, girls and women among the Pokot community of Kenya. Its core mandate is to sensitize the community across various remote villages where the prevalence of Female Genital Mutilation and Child Marriages are quite high while rallying them to take action to end the vices which is detrimental in the lives of the girls and women. It also strives to create platforms and opportunities for promotion of education especially those who are vulnerable to harmful traditional practices. Beside these the CBO also provides safe haven for survivors and victims of the harmful vices to find refuge and to receive psychosocial support.
