The NGO Congo Handicap is created by a group of children, young people, men and women living with disabilities and other people of good will, in order to meet the needs of people with disabilities and vulnerable in Congo. It is a non-governmental organization (NGO), with a national vocation specialized in the field of disability seen in its entirety: Social, economic, cultural, educational and medical aspects.

The vision of Congo Handicap is that where any form of disability can be foreseen, treated or integrated and where the rights of people with disabilities are respected and applied in the DRC. It intervenes in the following areas: 

• Access to ESH care
• Access to education for ESH ordinary schools
• School development to facilitate access to ESH
• Citizenship and advocacy
• Economic reintegration
• Law and advocacy
