Art for Children Foundation (A4C) is a non-profit non-governmental organization (NGO) founded in 2016 with a mission 'to provide an environment for every child to discover and nurture their artistic abilities and creativity in art'. It enables children to grow into responsible citizen leadership through integrating art with life skills and governance (Kenya's 17 National Values and Principles of Governance). This way it addresses and establishes sustainable solutions against child violence. A4C also runs three flagship projects as part of its commitment to enable communities to achieve U.N. Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 4, 5, and 16. A4C was officially registered in 2019 with the national NGO Coordination Board and recognized by the Department of Children Services.
