AMAMO - ASSOCIAÇÃO WOMAN OF AMPARO MOÇAMBIQUE, was created  in May 2016. A group of women who suffered violence in the neighborhood, decided to unite and claim for their rights, which culminated in the death of two women mentors of this organization, victims of physical violence. AMAMO had its genesis when verifying that the Patrice Lumumba neighborhood and adjacent neighborhoods had the same types of problems that have to do with begging, prostitution, child labor, domestic violence, early pregnancies people with chronic diseases and, therefore, engaged in the struggle to assist the people of these communities to help improve their situation. For this, a range of activists has been formed to track and identify cases that can, jointly with partners, donors help them to get out of the situation they are in and support them so that they do not go back to the first situation. of disadvantaged and vulnerable people.
