Governments can work to end violence against children in three ways:
Becoming a pathfinding country
Work domestically towards functioning national systems to end violence against all children. As of October 2017, the partnership includes 13 pathfinding countries: El Salvador, Indonesia, Jamaica, Mexico, Montenegro, Nigeria, Paraguay, Philippines, Romania, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Tanzania and Uganda.
Supporting specific areas of work of the Business Plan
Take active part of the partnership's work to build political will, accelerate action and strengthen collaboration. The Business Plan’s activities support the Strategy and are “mission critical” in the first years of End Violence..
Investing in the Fund to End Violence Against Children
The multi-donor trust fund provides financial support to programmes and activities that further the Partnership’s goal of accelerating action in three priority areas: a) online, b) in the everyday lives of children (other pathfinding countries); and c) humanitarian settings.
